Course Description
The evacuation of Dunkirk between 26 May and 4 June 1940. A triumph, eulogised in books and film. But some historians have portrayed it as a disaster. How did the Germans view the events? What is the truth? Was it simply fake news and wartime propaganda? Examine the evidence and come to your own conclusions.
