Course Description
This course is for absolute beginners and requires no previous knowledge or entry requirements other than an interest in history. The Victorian and Edwardian Era (1880-1914) was marked by considerable changes in its codes of conduct. There were significant shifts in politics among sections of society that had largely been excluded from power, such as servants and industrial working class. This is also the time when women started to play more of a role in politics with the rising of the Suffragette Movement.
